Most Seymour handles are crafted from the finest North American hardwoods. Hardwood squares are dried in our own kilns to eliminate further drying and shrinking after manufacture. Precision turned handles are fine sanded for extra smoothness.
Super tough urethane coating repels water better and is more durable in sunlight than conventional lacquers.
Extended tab sockets add strength to critical head and handle connection.
Structron PermaGrip steel collar adds strength and stays tight to provide the best connection of handle and head. Reinforcement at this critical point without rivet holes provides the ultimate in durability.

Structron fiberglass handles are made from millions of fiberglass strands and mats bonded together with a polyester resin and protected by a surface veil.
ADVANTEX, Owens-Corning's glass fiber reinforcement, is used exclusively in all Structron handles. This state-of-the-art technology produces a handle
that is up to 100% stronger than other fiberglass handles and one that
will not crack, splinter, or weather.

Fiberglass handle inserts All fiberglass handle tools have core inserts to provide extra strength at the point of greatest stress. Each insert is designed to provide the strength needed for each intended application.

Duralite homeowner tools use solid hardwood inserts.

The Professional series tools have heavy-duty fiberglass cores with tough polypropylene plugs for all types of rugged professional jobs. The Structron Power Tool® line uses PowerCore solid fiberglass rod inserts to provide
the strongest tools available for the most demanding industrial and commercial applications.

Rugged Steel or poly D-grips are matched to tools to provide the best combination of balance grip, comfort, and durability.

Availability of different styles provides a range of quality levels to meet application and price point needs.

Vinyl or cushion grips on fiberglass and aluminum handles provide better grip and comfort.

Extension handles featuring the patented STA-LOK® Positive Locking System increases the reach of Structron loppers, hedge shears, and extension handles.

Bypass design
pruner and lopper blades are designed to cut green, growing, or wet wood.

Anvil design pruner and lopper blades are designed to cut dead, dying, or dry wood.

Compound action design on pruning tools multiplies handle force to cutting blades for easier cutting.

Hardwood digger handles are square-cut for added strength at point of greatest stress. Handles are double bolted to yokes for added strength. Replaceable blades are triple riveted to thick yokes for long life. Durable carbon steel blades are sharpened for easier digging. Yokes and blades are painted with the best in electrostatic painting technology.
