Founded in 1872, Seymour Manufacturing makes lawn and garden hand tools, replacement handles, and fireplace accessories for a wide range of home, farm, commercial and industrial applications.
Seymour is one of the highest volume producers of manual posthole diggers and augers in the world. Other lawn and garden tools include shovels, rakes, hoes, weed & brush cutters, pruning tools, snow tools, contractor tools, striking tools, wheelbarrows, brooms, scoops, ring fasteners & ringer pliers, and other specialty products.
Seymour also makes Structron brand premium quality fiberglass handle tools for contractors and quality conscious homeowners. Structron products also include fiberglass extension and utility handles used primarily for painting.
Fireplace accessories include toolsets, firescreens, grates, rugs, bellows, brooms, firewood carriers and holders, matches, charcoal and firewood starters, coal hods, ash buckets, gloves, and other hearth products.

The Link Handle Division makes a complete line of replacement handles for striking tools such as axes, sledges, picks, and hammers as well as agricultural tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes. These replacement handles are made from American hickory, American ash, other hardwoods, and fiberglass.
Seymour products are marketed to a wide range of home, farm, contractor, commercial, and industrial users through hardware stores, building and home centers, farm stores, mass merchandisers, distributors, paint stores, fireplace shops, gift shops, grocery stores, convenience stores, sporting goods stores, campground stores, the internet, and consumer catalogs.
The company employs over 120 people at the headquarters in Seymour, Indiana. Seymour also employs about 100 people in production facilities in Sequatchie, Tennessee; Altamont, Tennessee; and Crossville, Tennessee. The sales force consists of about 200 independent sales representatives located throughout the United States and Canada. Products are also exported to foreign markets.
